An intresting Sloka in Katha Upanishad

There is a difficult sloka / shloka in Katha Upanishad.

Many Vedic students approached me to get clarified on it. Hence I liked to show the difficult situation and the right meaning.

It’s good to have some clarity in it.

Katha Upanishad 2-5-14

Na tatra suryo bhati

 न तत्र सूर्यो भाति न चन्द्रतारकम्

Here तत्र tatra doesn’t refer Atma , but it means 'here' in this context - vishya saptami.

Let us put it in to a dialog ….

Fa: Son, do u see t sun shining tr, is nt?

Son: Ya, pa. it shines.

Fa: Son, It s nt true, really it doesn’t shine.

u see t moon shining tr, is nt?

Son: Ya, pa

Fa: Son, It s nt true, really it doesn’t shine.

u see t lightening shining tr, is nt?

Son: Ya, pa

Fa: Son, It s nt true, really it doesn’t shine.

आत्मा एव भान्ति, स एव भान्तः

Son: Pa, but why I don’t see him?

Fa: Son, ty all being revealed by Atma only, and they all reveal him only

Sarvam^1/1 , tam^2/1 bhaantam^2/1 eva anubhaati^3/1

As because of his light only it appears tt everything shines as manythings ,

तम् एव भान्तम् अनुभाति सर्वम् ।

तस्य भासा सर्वम् इदम् विभाति ॥

(आत्मा^1/1 एव भान्ति^3/1),

तस्य^6/1 (आत्मनः^6/1) भासा^3/1 इदम्^1/1 सर्वम्^1/1  विभाति^U/1  -  भावे

तम्^2/1 भान्तम्^2/1 (आत्मानम्^2/1) एव -  सर्वम्^1/1 अनुभाति^U/1 - कर्तरि

Sanskrit is the easiest language in the world

Some people in India think, believe and create roomers that Samskritam or the Sanskrit is a difficult language. Really speaking Samskritam or Sanskrit is the easiest language in the world to learn or teach.

The people who used the Samskritam or Sanskrit language were the most intelligent and honest in the world. They never allowed any wanted difficulties in their life and hence in their language.

They found the easiest ways to learn and teach, and made them; as their life commitment majorly was learning and teaching, not sophisticated life, beautiful dresses, name, fame, and earning lot of money, or not even good food!   

Such an intelligent clan made everything of their life components according to make their studies easy. One of them is Samskritam or the Sanskrit. Hence it could become the easiest language in the world, and the richest language too.

All the people from other countries with different mother tongues learn Samskritam or the Sanskrit in a very short time. Especially it is very easy for them whose mother tongue is any Bhaarateeya or Indian language. As the structure of the languages in Bhaarat or India are one and the same. Among them it is little difficult for the people whose mother tongue is Tamil. For the reason it has got only one representation instead four in the ‘group-consonants’.

Other than this one issue there is no reason to say Sanskrit is a difficult language. And if we can find a way to solve this issue for Tamil language, this complaint ‘Samskritam or Sanskrit is a difficult language’ totally will become invalid in India. And it is possible too.
